Where to buy decent posters?

I have four nephews, aged 10, 8, 6 and 4.

For Christmas I try and get them something for £5.00 each, without it looking too cheap. I generally get them the same sort of thing eg they all get t-shirts, or all get books.

This year I had what I thought was a brilliant idea - I'd get them each a poster for their bedrooms.

Can I find reasonable, suitable posters for under a fiver? Can I heck!

They're all either £20+ or they're of scantily clad Girls Aloud, or film characters, or footballers. Not what I had in mind at all!

Does anyone have any useful tips or links for posters? OR failing that, a better idea of what to get them?

Maybe I would have got more luck making the title something like "similar cheap christmas present ideas for boys of various ages"

have you looked in woollies?

lomondgore · 27/10/2007 20:49

They have them for £4.00 in Woolworths.

They do? Wonderful. Nice pictures, suitable for children? I shall explore first thing on Monday.

Thank you!

Have you tried www.allposters.co.uk ?

Lots of posters at £5.99 (some cheaper - many dearer).
The often also have 10 or 20 percent discount offers. A bit overwhelming to browse though unless you already have an idea of what you are looking for.

I'm a fairly decent poster.

But I don't come cheap.

Sorry, blame the vodka...

BroccoliSpears · 27/10/2007 21:15

Yes, but would you be suitable for four boys under 10 gibberish?

BBaggage - I have indeed spent time at allposters. I've not managed to find the sort of thing I want there - everything seems to be sponsored - film posters, Disney characters, celebs etc. But it is such a big site I may just not have found the right thing.
