All neatly and carefully stored away in cupboard. Will it have matured beautifully with all the alcohol and now be even more yummy...or will it be bleeuurrghh???

Give it a try and let us know. God I would kill fo a steaming slice of Christmas pud with cream right now......I'm sure it would be fine, all that booze would preserve it, non?

hc I have one in tha back of my cupboard from last year, will be yummy as long as it has been kept airtight,

It will be yummy. My mum always used to make them and store them for a year. She doesn't anymore, since she discovered m&s

tigerschick · 26/10/2007 22:42

I hope it will be lovely as I am planning on using 2 of last year's this year and not bothering to make new ones!

Neverenoughpumpkins · 26/10/2007 22:43

It'll be gorgeous-my Grandma used to make them a year in advance. Look closely at it just in case but the alcohol will have preserved it for posterity. I served up a year old christmas Cake once to rave reviews!
