What were you surprised your DC didn’t like?

Were there any gifts that your DC weren’t as bothered about that you thought they would really like?

My ds had asked for Ryan toys figures. I bought a box of six utilising an Amazon voucher I had, otherwise would have got smaller ones, and took them out of the box to split between their stockings. I think because they weren't in the branded packaging, he didn't really click what they were? The two year old liked his and kept one in his hand for quite a while but the 5yo who requested them didn't acknowledge them really.

He said at bed time he should have written blind bags on his list so I think we both had different ideas of what he meant. Next year I'm sticking to charming unbranded stuff that costs less haha.
