Whole salmon Boxing Day

Help!

DH just come back from the shops with a whole salmon which was the only thing he could get!

He reckons he can use his new smoking bbq to cook it but I can't find a recipe and I've no idea what to serve it with!!

Help please!!

Sounds like a great idea. I would serve it with salad and crusty bread. I love Salmon 😋

Oooh salmon, yum! I love my salmon with baby spuds, lots of butter and cucumber creme fraiche sauce. Grate the cucumber into a tea towel and squeeze out the excess juice. Tip it into a bowl and add a few hefty dollops of creme fraiche. I usually add salt and pepper to it as well and if I've any dill I throw that in too.
Smoking it is a fab idea and probably the least hassle way of doing it. Enjoy

There's a recipe for cooking a whole salmon , carefully wrapped, on the upper shelf of a dishwasher. I haven't done it but I knew someone who did. Saves buying a proper fish kettle.
