Prawn Cocktail Sauce mystery....

Right who has stolen all the prawn cocktail sauce, none in my shopping delivery and I tried 4 different supermarkets yesterday and none!
Its the best part of christmas dinner - I'm obviously a child of the 70s!

You'll need to make your own. Is it not just tomato ketchup and mayo?

Isn’t it just mayo with a splash of ketchup? I’m sure that’s how Fanny did it back in the day.

It's really easy to make. Tomato ketchup and mayo/salad cream with a bit of paprika and lemon juice if you have them.

Super easy to make:
Ketchup
Mayo
Lemon juice
Worcester sauce
Paprika
Salt and pepper

Mix to taste

What they said ^^ shop bought is never anywhere near as flavoursome as i like so make my own with lots of paprika lemon and Worcester as well as cayenne pepper! (we like a bit of spice)

Ketchup, Mayo, dash of Tabasco and a squeeze of lemon.

Salad cream instead of mayo it needs the tang.

Iceland had loads yesterday

I will send dh out in a scavenger hunt tonight when he's picking up the turkey. I never realised that prawn cocktail was so popular I thought it had been replaced by new fangled starters!!
