Can anyone help me source a playstation 5??

I am desperately trying to get a PlayStation for DS, signed upto stock alerts and been randomly checking but seem to just miss out everytime. I can't only just afford to buy one at store prices and definitely can't afford the eBay prices they are going for. It was going to be his only main present, he's got a stocking full of little bits like chocolates and pens etc. What would you do? Try and get something else? Or do an IOU? (He hasnt directly asked for the PlayStation as he knows it will be too much but has mentioned it a few times in passing how lovely it would be to have one etc) really wanted to pull this off for him!

I'd save yourself the stress and give him the money. He's not stupid he'll know that they are unavailable. To save the worry of it being worried I would put it in a building society account in his name but you as the signatory

They don’t really exist I’m afraid. Unless you pay silly money from people on Facebook.

Signed up for alerts and followed ppl on twitter who were giving locations etc. Actually had one in my John lewis trolley and was checking out when website crashed and it was gone!

I have given up for Christmas and told DS not to expect it.

I am sorry to say they seem to have been scooped up by bots who are selling for crazy prices on ebay etc.

I have been looking regularly for friends ds (we managed to get one for ds in second wave of Pre-order) and there is just nothing out there.

If we hadn't, ds would have had an iou as that is "all" 🙄 he wanted.
