So when I was three (large) glasses of prosecco deep (first drink since April) I decided that I was going to buy DS a new Christmas stocking.
But then, whilst reading the stocking or pillowcase thread on chat I revisited an idea I had the other day, which is to buy a pillowcase, personalise it and have that instead. (I asked my Dad, he said they had a pillowcase as kids, so it's just my mother I have to convince.)
So I've bought a (two pack of) red pillowcase, some iron on festive patches, and spent silly money on an iron on glittery name sticker to arrive tomorrow. I want to then put a painted hand print on every year on Christmas Eve morning starting this year. I might even buy some Christmassy material and line the pillowcase.
I am ridiculous. It's three days before Christmas, but I'm actually really excited about doing it.
