Novel ways of giving a "pre-ordered" gift?

I've ordered my mum a book from one of her favourite authors, which isn't due to be released until January. Ive ordered through amazon and it will be delivered to her on release day. Any genius ideas for gifting it go her other than a print out of the order Grin thanks!

Could you roll the print out up very small, and put it inside a helium balloon which you could wrap in a box?
Or a desk diary with the ribbon on the day/week of the release date, and the order stuck on the relevant date to see?

A little Christmas ornament of a stack of books.
Wrap the note in lots of boxes so there’s loads to open before she gets to it.
Put a note inside another book by that author.
Get a DIY Christmas bauble and pop the note in there

What’s the book about, are there any ideas in that?

Could you get her a cheap mug, tea bags, bookmark etc and put the printed order in the mug with everything in there so she has a reading kit?

Could you make a dummy dust cover of the book and put it on another book she might also enjoy, or a "stunt double" book?

Ooh some great ideas there, thank you!! Love the bauble idea 😊
