My dd wants an electric toothbrush for Xmas. Not sure which one is best for this age group?

I'm getting DD (13) a basic Oral b one that is in the Lidl aisle of crap soon. Think it's £17.50. I've had a couple different ones before and I'm not sure the fancy ones are much better. Would be interested if anyone has information to the contrary though

We have two normal Oral B ones since 7 years or so.

For a 12 year old you just us a normal adult one, I didn’t know they come in cool.

I splashed out on toothbrushes for my DC recently on the Oral B Pro 2 2900 which came in a two pack for £50. I’m guessing you could buy them single as well or a very similar model. They are adult ones. I’m really pleased I did because they are so much better than their previous very basic ones that they’d had for years. It has a pressure sensor light and a 30 second vibrate thing to tell them when to move to next quadrant and I can tell just by looking at their teeth it’s cleaning them better.

I've got the Oral B Junior one, it's exactly the same as the basic 'adult' ones, but cheaper and comes in purple!
