Ok,ok, I KNOW I should have started this earlier, but (on the back of the excellent recommendations from Mumsnet) I’m looking to order some hampers for delivery before Christmas...

Northeast addresses.

Morrison’s have no delivery slots. Neither does John Lewis. Happy to use local or national companies, nut want to avoid Amazon.

Anyone? (Oh, and before anyone criticises, this is wifework nit just tardiness)

Following. My mother has been looking for a while.

StCharlotte · 15/12/2020 12:55

Following - I've hit the same roadblock. Never normally have a problem but didn't take into account the 2020 effect. Feel doubly bad as the recipient's parcel to us has just arrived. Guessing they'll just have to have it in January.

But not nut

But happy if it contains nuts...

Marks and spencer. Limited hampers online left, but I think they can still deliver

Honeywort · 15/12/2020 13:12

Lakeland only seem to have smallish gift sets of food online (eg pack of chutneys or jams) at the £10- 15 mark, which you could combine - but am guessing you want a bigger present?

CabinClose · 15/12/2020 13:13

Ringtons. Good northeast company too!

CabinClose · 15/12/2020 13:14

Aldi also

PamDenick · 15/12/2020 13:15

Will try both Rington and Lakeland...

Devon Heaven are still delivering. Hampers and cream teas. Ordered on Monday, for named day courier delivery tomorrow, just had the dispatch email. Delivery was also only £1.70

Getitdonesharpish · 15/12/2020 13:23

Borough market do hampers.

Vebrithien · 15/12/2020 13:23

www.devonheaven.co.uk/

Used them through lockdown for birthday/Father's day gifts, and for a Christmas hamper this week for my Great Aunt.

PamDenick · 15/12/2020 13:38

Does Aldi deliver?

Rococo chocolates do chocolate hampers. Very expensive. Totally worth it.

PamDenick · 15/12/2020 13:40

Will Borough Market deliver out of London?

I just ordered from www.pierheadhampers.com/ for my mum, they just did some lovely hampers for our teachers for us (school collection between all the parents for our classes).

PamDenick · 15/12/2020 13:50

Rococo slots full...

I’m going to have to drive 600 miles aren’t I? With a boot full of shortbread and chutney...

Wouldn’t it be simpler just to make your own up and go to the post office or courier it. Or are you sheilding/isolating?

CeeceeBloomingdale · 15/12/2020 13:54

Ringtons are lovely. Try Grainger Deliveries too (the stall holders of the Grainger market in Newcastle). There are probably loads of small companies who would sort something for you but depends on where specifically you're sending it

Nanasueathome · 15/12/2020 14:01

The £6000 hamper is still available at Fortnum and Mason
