We eat around 3 or 4pm. What do you eat in the evening if you eat at this time. I have my DSis and her BF visiting this year and not sure what to serve

Thanks all.
Think I will go for a cheese board and keep what's left for boxing day 😊

Surely the leftovers from lunch? Or sausage or bacon sandwiches?

Turkey and pickle sandwiches and chocolate or maybe some cheese and biscuits but depends on how late we eat and how hungry we are

GlamourSpider · 12/12/2020 22:48

Cheeseboard and choccies

We tend to eat at 1.30-2pm so in the evening I bring out cheese and biscuits and pickles, bread, oil and balsamic and Parma ham or maybe some king prawns and mayo. Crisps and bits. People don't tend to eat much though.

The DC will have pizza at about 6pm.

We’ll have cheese and crackers a bit later.
Pudding will be mince pies, Christmas cake, left over profiteroles.

It's difficult to say - if we're hungry then leftovers, cheese, pickles, crackers and grapes.

We were going to have large leisurely dinner, Xmas pud 2 hours after. Doubt we'll starve.

There's only two of us so we're just getting in local cheddar and brie from the butchers for a 'cheeseboard' Smile

We don't usually eat but if we are abit hungry we get the cheese board out but normally we're too full!

I’d go for a cheeseboard, mince pies/Christmas cake and champagne. Can’t think that most people would have room for much after a large Christmas lunch.
