Board Games for Adults, Dyslexia

Hi All,

Can anyone please reccommend some games that might be suitable for adults to play on Xmas day? One of the players is dyslexic and has in the past refused to play games that require too much reading (I thought the games I picked were minimal reading but they still refused). I want something they can join in with without feeling self conscious...

Not really looking for a game to be educational for the dyslexic person, just something fun.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Strategy games like Ticket to Ride or Carcassone.

Was going to suggestbcarvosonne, also ticket to ride! Or we also love dixit and Catan (dd 16 is dyslexic and lives these games) or the card game Ginbs. Or forbidden Island which is good as it is a Co operative game.

The Sock Game.

How about Mysterium? Mysterium

We bought it a few months ago and it is really fun. No reading required because the point of the game is really the wonderful artwork and using the pictures provided to give clues. It is a sort of Cluedo with added atmosphere.

5foot5 Mysterium looks brilliant, I've just ordered it for us all for Christmas!
