I'm trying to find a secret santa present for a friend and that is our limit! Any ideas?

Does it have to be totally foodie? If someone went into Tesco and bought me one of their £4 paperbacks, a box of salted caramel Lindor balls and a small bottle of Baileys right now I genuinely think I might tear up with joy!

(But I might be a bit common ;))

Probably more useful, last year best friend and I sent each other posh macarons from Mademoiselle Macarons. Wonderful flavours and not something I’d normally have bought.

Decent bottle of olive oil.

Fancy paprika of various types in little tins.
Or a mix of unusual spices.

A curry spice kit? Or similar for some kind of cooking style you think they’d like.

The Flavour Thesaurus

Go to tk maxx and buy a selection of nice foodie gifts. You'll get a few bits for £15.

I’d prefer one or two really nice things for that budget. What sort of food do they like? I’d be very happy with a bottle of good olive oil, as PP suggested, or a really good balsamic vinegar.

Thanks for all the great suggestions - I think she'd like the flavour thesaurus actually!

Yes, I was kind of thinking something a bit luxury that you wouldn't spend that amount on yourself - olive oil would fit the bill too, it's the sort of thing I would probably spend max £5 on, but if I received a £15 bottle I'd be really pleased.

I’ve not seen the Flavour Thesaurus before - intriguing!
