Ex's dad - what to buy for gift?

The kids will want to give something. I don't want to be spending lots of cash. My ex isn't often involved with the kids . What do you get for him and his partner? He has diabetes.

He is no spring chicken. I will be as hospitable and pleasant as pie but reluctant to spend cash as there is history of financial abuse and unpleasantness.

My dp always gets his dad a Broons annual for Christmas........he's in his 60s.

In your case tho if go for a good old photo gift, photo mug or somesuch with a nice pic of your ds on it.

How old are your kids?

I used to buy my ex decent presents but if it’s a year when’s he’s pissed me off I let the kids pick whatever random crap they like from Tesco/local gift shop/boots etc - he may not like it but he can’t complain when the kids have chosen it
