What's the best way to get gift to Dubai?

DS1 wants to send a gift to his father in Dubai. Does anyone have any experience of this? Should I buy it and post it or order from Amazon and have them deliver it?

Amazon or Parcel2go which is a price comparison and goes from cheapo snail mail to supersonic next day etc.

Is a gifting website in the Middle East. So you can pick a gift from there and will deliver it.

It would be quiet expensive to send from here so we usually just use gifting websites already based in the UAE.

You could use amazon.ae and have it delivered directly to him.
I live in the UAE so if you tell me what sort of gifts you're thinking of I'll try to give you a local retailer/website that will accommodate if it helps
