Xmas gift ideas for 1 y/o niece

HI all,

Hope you're all keeping well. I am struggling to think of ideas of something small (no more than £20) to get my niece for Xmas. If it helps, she loves emptying things like the washing basket or pulling garments off the clothes horse!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Melissa & Doug have a good range of toys or look at Jelly cat and choose a nice soft toy or perhaps a rag doll.

I'd get pretend shopping stuff. Like this trolley here.

Going to be boring and suggest a cheque to put in her savings

My 12mo daughter was recently given a small xylophone (from The Entertainer) and it was a massive hit!

I've got my DS a tractor and trailer with farm animals. I'm pretty sure he's mostly going to take the animals out and hide them under the sofa

Has she just tuned one? My daughter was 10 months last xmas and the things she got for xmas and birthday that she loves are:
Lanka kade animals
Green toys truck
Hand puppets (she doesn’t use them, she likes me to!)
Mega blocks
Hape Baby Einstein piano (think this was about £25 but you might find a discount code)
Leapfrog tea set
Musical caterpillar from argos - plays nursery rhymes, mostly lives in storage under the sofa - depends how much you hate your sibling!

However, a lot of these things she wasn’t really interested in till she was 15-16 months ish but at 22 months she plays with most of these every day.

Stacking cups for the bath

Nice pajamas, musical instruments, a set of wooden cars, a doll, small duplo set, a outfit, bath toys.
A book, pehaps a childhood favourite of yours, you could then buy one most years.

The Tomy Squeaky Eggs always go down really well for that age & are still used by older children.

Argos currently have 2 for £15 on Chad Valley toys - they do a lovely set of wooden blocks that would be great for open ended play and used well into her childhood. You could get a shape sorter or puzzles as well.
