A gift for my baby

I'd like to get my baby girl something special for her first Christmas. She won't know much about it this year but I'd like her to have something she can appreciate when she's older, a little keepsake such as a book or jewellery from her mummy. Does anyone have any nice ideas?

My dd was 6 days old on her first Christmas. We got her a beautiful dark red blanket which she used for years. We now have it in a memory box.

What about a Lifetime Diary? It has 3 pages for each year, and you can add a little engraved plaque on the front.

You can fill it in til she moves out then she can take it with her as an adult.

Ah that's a nice idea I'll look into it, thank you

I've got my little girl a personalised 1st christmas bauble and stocking. I've also got her a lovely wooden rattle with her name engraved and will get her a Pandora bracelet and add a charm each year like I do for her big sister.

I’ve been buying my babies gold bullion coins. They look like treasure and are more interesting than money in the bank account. They will appreciate in value and they can sell them when they are 18 if they like.
