Looking for ideas we usually have full English on Christmas morning but I want to change things up this year and want to know what others have?

Also I’ve never had to make a dinner on Boxing Day and I can’t think what to have... I’ll have the cold meats but what do you usually have with it ? Or do you have something else completely ?

I always do a curry on boxing Day with the leftover turkey and some of the veg and sensations poppadoms. Christmas breakfast if I m honest is a Terry's chocolate orange.

I make two casseroles on Christmas morning a French toast casserole (posh bread and butter pudding essentially) and a sausage casserole (sausage meat, eggs, cheese and cut up bagels) they can both be prepped the night before and left in the fridge and all I need to do is put them in the oven to cook. For boxing day dinner we have cold meats, pickles, chutneys, cheese, crackers, homemade bread rolls, stuffing, stuffed sweet peppers and just some general party food bits like cocktail sausages, chicken bites etc.

Christmas breakfast is bake in the oven croissants and pain au chocolates.
Boxing day I normally do a huge late brunch and have everyone round, that won't be happening this year so will probably just get some buffet stuff from M&S and have that instead.

Xmas Day breakfast this year is going to be kilties with tattie scones. And cinnamon doughnuts with coffee.

Boxing Day, I have no idea. DH said something last month along the lines of having an all day grading buffet. So I said “Great, why don’t you organise that then”. Tbf, he is.

Christmas Day breakfast is usually Christmas biscuits, pain au chocolats with a cup of tea. Kids have their usual breakfasts of cereal or toast plus biscuits.

Boxing Day is generally buffet food at a friends, we all take stuff to contribute (we live in Australia so can meet with whoever Christmas Day due to eased restrictions).

Smoked salmon cream cheese bagels and oj/ fizz for breckie, leftovers on boxing day

Christmas Day breakfast for me is always porridge, for DH smoked salmon and scrambled eggs (our different childhoods clashing there...)

Boxing Day lunch is the best meal of the year:
Cold ham and turkey, pork pie, bubble and squeak, homemade chips done in the chip pan, pickles and chutneys plus any leftover stuffing, pigs in blankets and cranberry sauce. Xmas Grin
