Wrapping smelly gift sets?

Debating with my oh.

Do you wrap the gift sets that are the Baylis and Harding type style, so look a bit nicer as are than say a box of lynx Africa? Or do you leave them as the come to save the time?

I was set on wrapping them until he started and now can't decide which side of the fence I sit on Confused

Wrap obviously.

Grobagsforever · 01/12/2020 22:34

They are already using an absolute ton of packaging so best not to add to it by wrapping.

SirMoanalot · 02/12/2020 12:26

Ew why do you call them smelly? Shouldn't you say scented?

Spacerader · 02/12/2020 12:31

I get the dilemma. I've struggled with this one before, now I tend to wrap it, if its their own ky gift, or wrap it if its say a lush gift set for the children in their pile.

I dont wrap it, if its part of a few gifts and in a gift bag where other presents are wrapped.

And whats wrong with smelly? I refer to sets as smellies, so if someone says what shall I get you?, I'd reply, oh I don't know a nice smellies set maybe.

Wrap and always refer to them As smelliest

SirMoanalot · 02/12/2020 13:16

Dear lord. It just sounds so unappealing to me.
Are you Northerners?

evenmoreforthemoor · 02/12/2020 13:28

YABU for buying them in the first place.

freezedriedromance · 02/12/2020 13:33

I, and those I've spoken to, say "smellies." Like a smellies set.
We're Midlands. I have family in Scotland and Wales who say the same.

Spacerader · 02/12/2020 13:36

I'm in Wales. And say smellies.

HomeSliceKnowsBest · 02/12/2020 14:28

Smellies sounds rank.
