Looking at spending around £25-30 max. Was going to get hotel chocolat stuff but I know they are getting that from someone else!
Any independents out there that do nice foodie gifts?

Costco hampers. We've given the tower of treats before and it's gone down well.

They look very nice and I thought the prices £20 & £25 was ok.
There are a few more similar to the above.

Simply Cake Co are an independent bakery who do brownies delivered by post. You can buy one offs or subscriptions of 3 months etc and they get delivered in letterbox friendly packaging. I think it’s about £12-13 a month depending on what one you pick.

We did this last year and we’ve had them for ourselves this year. They are beautiful gooey brownies with different themes each month if you choose to have the specials. We’ve had white choc rocky road, fudge choc caramel, mint choc, pumpkin spice, blackberry crumble etc.

If you have a seafood lover there is a fishmonger in Bodmin that has a beautiful online Shop Fish for thought. They sell lobster, crab, oysters, prawns etc as well as fish. They do vouchers so people can choose what they get. I did this for my dad a few times as he loves shellfish and it was a real treat. It’s not all super expensive. An oysters Rockefeller kits is £14.50, Lobster bisque £12 etc.

I’m using cheese geek for gifts this year (delivery is included and they package the cheese really nicely).

Other ideas are bettys (but I don’t think they have many delivery slots left), konditor and cook, marks and spencer (they have sold out of quite a few hampers though, so be quick).

I've done a gin/chocolate/candle gift set from M&S today and it says it will be there Monday. Thought it would be longer. You can put a message in and hide the price.

The hampers/boxes from here are fab!! Can't order till Friday as been so much demand but they will let you chop and change things to suit recipient (obviously swapping like for like for no price change).
