It's a bit of a challenge every year as her parents won't make suggestions and ask for a surprise, I've had to exchange so many Xmas and birthday gifts as she already has said item

She's into LOL OMG, hatchimals, Lego friends, crapping flamingo, Barbie etc and gets mountains of gifts every year. This isn't a dig but she has lots of toys that never even get opened.

Budget around £30, she's quite arty and creative so looking for something a bit out if the box in the hope she doesn't already have it. Any ideas?

A tie dye kit and some items of white clothing? Next have multipacks of white tops / leggings and Amazon have really good tie dye kits.

I have a 7 year old nephew and he's very into crafts at the moment so I bought him some craft sets from Hobbycraft as they're 3 for 2. They have jewellery making kits to dinosaur modelling kits and even a make your own robot vacuum kit. There's also some make your own Christmas decoration kits so they might make nice pre-Christmas presents.

Pyjamas from Selfie Clothing Co

National Geographic Gemstone Dig Kit? Popular with my DS and classmates of similar age.
My DS also likes "grown up" art supplies - The Works do art sets in wooden boxes and cheap sketch pads, for example.
The tie-dye kit is a good idea, as long as she has a parent willing to help, I had to do most of the work when we did this!

My 7yo would enjoy lego dots, polymer clay or rock painting kits.

I've got Pictionary Air for a similar 7 year old

SecretDancer · 30/11/2020 19:36

Brilliant, thank you all. This should keep me going for a couple of years worth of gifts.

Those Selfie PJs are fab @Fivemoreminutes1

Miltonkeynesmummy · 30/11/2020 21:00

Hatichmal fairy or a spirit play Mobil set?

Getoutofbed25 · 30/11/2020 21:16

I’d go for something like a jewellery box or books or something to keep, my children have like cuddly toys

You could make a big craft box with paint etc from the works.

If she has an iPad/tablet perhaps an Alexa.

I got 6 & 8yr old girls. Tie dye kits would be a big hit, they have been asking for them for a while. Also microscope, metal detector, telescope would be very popular. If she likes sports, gymnastics you could get a gymnastics beam or mat from ebay or amazon. I’ve also got mine an archery set and punch bag.

There are some really good sticker books around at the moment, very arty ones a bit like paint by numbers. Or even a paint by numbers canvas.
