You’ve got £50....what do you want for Christmas?

DH has asked if there’s anything I really want for Christmas. He’s already got me some small bits but has said he’s got £50 left of our budget.

Unfortunately a lot of the bits I’d like are out of stock and I’m struggling to think of anything I actually want or need

So if you had £50 what would you want?

Perfume? Nice slippers? Nice underwear? Costume jewellery? Posh smelly candle?

LadyCatStark · 29/11/2020 08:20

A couple of pairs of running leggings.

KatherineJaneway · 29/11/2020 08:21

I'd ask for an iTunes voucher so I had credits to buy music and films in 2021

SunnySomer · 29/11/2020 08:22

Some Falke cosy wool socks, different colours. I think this would get you 2-3 pairs, so quite special as socks go.

Crazydogmumma · 29/11/2020 08:28

I really want a new vanity case to carry all my toiletries when I go on holiday (whenever that might be). Revival vintage has one I have my eye on for £50. I would also love a Thomas Kent mantle clock in dusky pink for my new home office- so cute!

whitetilesmurf · 29/11/2020 09:21

I would get a lovely bubble bath, a voucher for a book on my kindle and a decent bottle of wine.

kowari · 29/11/2020 09:22

I'd want the cash for food shopping

clary · 29/11/2020 09:25

Some lovely silver earrings such as Indigo Silver
Hilary Mantel book
running capris

KitKatastrophe · 29/11/2020 09:27

I'm quite dull, there isnt really anything I want and I dont really make use of traditional "womens" gifts like candles, bath stuff etc.

I would really like a slow cooker / pressure cooker and we could use some new good quality towels 🤣

missmouse101 · 29/11/2020 09:29

I'd have it as an Amazon voucher.

myhobbyisouting · 29/11/2020 09:32

Ancestry kit but you might've missed the last chance to get one at that price.

SavoyCabbage · 29/11/2020 09:36

@clary I thought that said 'running cape'.

I'm getting a hairdryer as not only do I share with dd, I share it with the dog too.

EggyPegg · 29/11/2020 09:38

I'd like a new ski helmet and £50 would be a fair way towards the sort I've got my eye on.

Alternatively, if you don't want or need anything, tell DH to not spend for the sake of spending.

PhantomErik · 29/11/2020 09:48

Amazon voucher to buy some more kindle books.

DH has got me a Contigo travel cup (at my request) as my current one leaks if it's not kept upright & my car cup holder is too small. School run takes about an hour twice a day so having a hot cup of coffee on the go is lovely.

Last year I had a £60 lego set which was totally unlike me but I really enjoyed it!

Other things I might like would be new ankle boots, dressing gown, citrusy smelling stuff - shower gel, soap, room spray or anything lemon flavoured!

Electric toothbrush

BecomeStronger · 29/11/2020 09:56

A long walk with a fancy picnic

MacbookHo · 29/11/2020 09:57

You want a Revlon One-Step Volumiser and Styler. Shiny hair in 10 minutes. £44 on Wowcher.

TricksyLiesmith · 29/11/2020 09:58

A game for my switch . I've just got back into gaming and I bloody love it !

EmmaGrundyForPM · 29/11/2020 10:00

A pair of Egos slippers. I've just worn through my current pair, I wear them every day and, since lockdown, all day long except when it was really hot.

Pbbananabagel · 29/11/2020 10:02

An Amazon echo show for the kitchen! They’re on offer today for Black Friday so hurry if you like the sound of this

TheCrow · 29/11/2020 10:14

I would get the Aldi dupe velvetiser hot chocolate maker for £40 and some posh chocolate flakes to put in it with the other £10

Appuskidu · 29/11/2020 13:36

I would buy a nice piece of silver jewellery-a chunky pendant, I think.

Willow4987 · 29/11/2020 14:24

Thanks for the ideas everyone. Given me a few things to think of

A koala throw from dunelm. Some koala slipper socks from amazon, a box of hotel chocolat and a bottle of baileys
