Can you recommend a Fitbit type thing for 11year old DD?

Looking for advice on an activity tracker for my 11 year old DD. She is too old (in her mind) for Disney type ones but has slim wrists.

No budget in mind, I’d rather not pay ridiculous prices but I do want it to be reliable.

I know some have doubts about activity trackers for children, I understand that and agree it depends on the child. DD is a sensible, balanced individual with no food/appearance issues and no anxiety and has asked for a tracker for her steps. I’m comfortable buying one for her and as her mother I feel I know her well enough to make that decision.

Insights gratefully received on which trackers you would recommend. Many thanks

Fitbit kids version?

I’d just get a FitBit with an adjustable strap. You can buy them on Amazon.

Dh ordered two fitness trackers from amazon reduced to £20. Not apple brand deliberately because there's been thefts in dd's school. We decided to buy an inexpensive, generic tracker which can be easily replaced.

The ‘ very fit pro’ is good, my kids all have one. Just looked on Amazon for link and looks to have rebranded letsfit..?

I've bought this one for my DD for Xmas. I didn't want to fork out for Fitbit prices. The reviews I've read have mostly been good.

We’ve bought one from Amazon. Quite a few on Black Friday deals. The one we bought DS who is 12 is the same shape as an Apple Watch and is £25.

Thanks so much for all your recommendations, there seem to be some great options for reasonable prices, thank you.

We got our ds one from Amazon..think it was about £20 two years ago and it's still going strong he loves it.

Samsung fit e? I've got one, pretty much the same as the Fitbit Alta hr but only £35. And Samsung is still a "cool" brand of image conscious kids

My son and all his friends have mi bands, we are abroad so not sure you can get them in the UK.

I got my Dad a cheapie in lockdown - surprisingly he's really taken to it. His only complaint is that sometimes in strong sun light, the screen can be a bit hard to see - but they do sell an anti-glare screen protector which has helped massively.

I got my DS an Amazon cheapy one (Yoyo I think) and it wasn't great, a bit tricky to use and not very intuitive. I got an Honor Band 5 myself for my birthday, and its great, was less than £30. I've bought another for DS for Xmas as his doesn't really work any more, and size wise it's ok on his wrist.

DD had a miband as a stocking filler last Christmas and uses it every day. Probably her most used present from last year. Think it was about £18!
