I have just had the best Christmas shopping day ever.

This year, it was decided among the family that we would only buy for the children. Yippee, I have £700 more to spend than I usual have so I have spent £100 buying myself 6 presents. Best of all I don’t have to wait until Christmas Day to open them.

Ooh I love this. I've bought myself a few presents but I do wrap them/get my children to wrap them and put them under the tree, its something to look forward to.

I'm buying myself an expensive watch, they (my H's extended family, H himself, & my indolent S ) can all sod off with their thoughtlessness
I have short listed 2, I am going to choose later with DD. It's vintage & costs £1500.

Deciding to prepare for next Christmas so I started to sell some bits and pieces on eBay.
10 days in and I’ve made over £100!
I am so so chuffed.
I’m going to carry it on and let it build in order to pay for Christmas 2021.
I’ve been having a huge clear out so trips to the tip & trips to the post office.
Feel ridiculously happy!!

I bought myself a few gifts too and have declared that I'm only buying for kids (other than my parents).

I was ordering some stuff from Anthropologie for teen dd and I added some lovely small things into the order for me, they can go in my stocking but I have told dh he really needs to sort the rest out.

So far I have liberty print face masks, beautiful socks with hares on them and a very cute set of bowls for nuts / olives & a mug with my initial on it.

Two house plants, more expensive than I would usually by. 3 plant pots and £30 of luxury Chocolate marzipan. I saw Ameretto fo £10 in Lidl today, so that is next

I spent £250 on myself lol. Ahhhh why?!

I lent my siblings a large amount of money this year so they said not to buy them presents as the loan was enough.
