Black Friday camera deals?

Hi ladies,
In need of a little bit of advice
Please. My daughters asked for a camera. I’ve been looking at a Sony one for her but would of course like to get it for a good price. I was hoping maybe Black Friday sale or cyber Monday. Anyone been able to get a camera before in the Black Friday deals?

Does she have a phone with a decent cameras or does she want an SLR? There's not much value in point and shot anymore so depends what she wants to do.

I've got one for my dd which is noted for its good zoom.
So it can't be bettered by phone camera

She’s got the iPhone XR. She wants a camera to film with also. I’m totally stuck because I know nothing about cameras. I got my oh a brilliant canon one a few years that a super helpful sales assistant in John Lewis helped me with but because the shops aren’t open I have no idea.
