Wreath on a budget?

I’d really like to have a crack at making my own wreath but all of the kits I’ve seen so far are pretty pricey (for something that might end up looking like a dogs dinner)

Has anyone made their own for a reasonable price? What bits did you need? We’re in London so not loads of opportunity for foraging. And I probably wouldn’t know what I was looking for anyway!

I've seen people make ones out of pool noodles and baubles. They look really cool. There are hundreds of tutorials of them on pintrest and YouTube

I have made my own before from picking Holly and foliage whilst out waking, the only thing I paid for was a wire wreath frame and a bag of moss from the florist (can also buy it in some pet shops). There’s some great YouTube videos showing you how to make one.
