I understand this may not be the best place to post this but it is sort of Christmas related!

Can anyone recommend an online platform for a family quiz - over different households? Not sure even if such thing exists but I'm trying to organise a family "get together" and we all enjoy quizzes.

Depends if you want to set the questions online or not? If not, pretty much any platform.

What do you need it to do? I did family quizzes all the way through lock down. We used Zoom and I made a PowerPoint and screen shared. I'm on the middle of making a Christmas one.

I thought perhaps there was a platform we could all join and play in real time with the questions already set. Maybe I'm hoping for too much lol!

I could do it via zoom and make my own but not all the family members are on speaking terms so without interaction would be better!

Look at kahoot. It's online/app, and you set the quiz up and issue everyone with a pin to access it. After each question it scores you so you can see who's top of the leader board etc. If you combine this with a zoom call you'll get more interaction for those who want it.

I think there’s a gap in the market! I’m taking a chance on something called Outsmarted. Not in stock until December though

I've recently used quizshow.io - people answer the questions on a smartphone on quiz.sh

Worked pretty well - worth a look!

We've used kathoot also with zoom. Very straightforward and good fun. You only have a certain length of time to answer each question and it shows people moving up and down the leaderboard. It also calculates the winners.
