16/17 year old dd present ideas?

I have spent a lot more on dd then I usually do but she only has 3 presents, I know she will be happy with what she is getting and she has said she doesn’t really need/want much but her younger sister will be getting twice as many gifts.

Ipad
Weighted blanket
Disney stitch cuddly toy (she collects them)

She does have a stocking containing pop tarts, bath bombs, stress ball, socks, note book and stationary.

She doesn’t know she’s getting the iPad, it’s a surprise but she does need one to do her homework on so it’s more of a need than a want.

She’s not really into clothes other than slogan T-shirt’s which she got loads of last year, not into make up or skin care, not in to jewellery and doesn’t really have any hobbies other than gaming and politics. I don’t want to buy things for the sake of it but would like to get her a couple items that she will use. Any ideas?

I always appreciate a top up of any toiletries (deodorant, face wipes & moisturisers, shampoo and bath smellies) and new pjs/pants/socks/slippers. I’d get a main present like an ipad for example and those little bits and it was more than enough as I knew the cost of the items. If she’s not into makeup etc then I think the above would be nice, some cosy clothing to wear when using her new iPad. What about some iPad accessories? A stand to watch it in bed or a case?

Thank you, I’m not sure what books 16 year olds like? She used to read a lot, is doing English A level but rarely asks for books now. She has hoodies that I bought her last year that she hasn’t worn (bought her a £50 hype hoodie and she’s not worn it), she doesn’t drink coffee or anything warm and I recently bought her trainers. I’m struggling to think of anything she hasn’t already got. She’s doesn’t wear pj’s or slippers. All she has asked for is money (from her dad and other family members).

It sure is, though she rarely spends any. She takes after her dad and is tight with her cash 🤣🤣

my 15 year old is getting a (surprise) tv for her room. She's currently using her phone to watch movies etc so we think she will love it. We're contemplating getting apple tv for her to use too.

She has lots this year but is the youngest by a long way and is spoiled by her working sisters too . She's going to be absolutely delighted with her lot!

I bought the weighted blanket here ,went for the bigger size and it’s perfect, dd2 and I tried it out a few days ago.

I have bought her the iPad stand pillow thing and will get her some more T-shirt’s from Qwertee if they do their £5 sale in a few weeks. Hopefully that will be enough. Her sister is much easier to buy for 🤣

Dd 17 is having a new phone besides that she is getting lego (the London skyline one), needle felting kits (her favourite hobby, a kit so she can learn how to make a rug, game for her switch and ds, books, stationery, lush bath bombs and a fake oodie from Next. Family will give her cash that she will spend on extortionate items from Japan.

I think that's fine, one of my daughters interests mean she gets less in quantity as they are far more expensive for each item. All three of mine are getting less this year as its insane the piles of presents. This time when buying gifts its things they have asked for, in sure they will use/play with and we have space for it. You know your daughter will love what you've got her and will be preoccupied playing with it on the day.

Do you live any where near London? The Houses of Parliament Tours (with Afternoon Tea) are very interesting if she likes politics. Could be a nice day out next year when (hopefully!) everything is up and running again.

We are not near London but it’s easy to get there by train. She would probably love a trip to London, maybe that’s something I could arrange for her birthday in February.

How about a nice burner with some lovely smelling melts ?
