If you don’t like the Elf’s scroll on and don’t bother commenting.

Personally I love it when the Elf’s arrive, I’ve already got a bunch of ideas and I’m probably more excited than the kids 😂

Does anyone else love them? What ideas do you have? Most of mine usually involve the kids toys. I tend to avoid anything I need to clean up in the morning and definitely nothing rude/x-rated.

Our elf’s also like to bring little treats during advent.

DS7 just spent his pocket money on a (second) elf as he doesn’t think last year’s is coming back, so looks like I’m starting early!
No idea what to do with him tonight... help!

Past successes included stealing my advent calendar chocolate, putting Christmas tree crumpets in the toaster and putting up a fake tree in the boys room while they slept.

*Elves. Could get away with Elfs, but definitely not Elf's. No creature with a misplaced apostrophe will be making its way into my house 😄

You can always put him in self isolation for 2 weeks 😆

Ours too. They do talk to Santa but not about bad behaviour. They deliver Santa’s letters to the DCs each year and the DCs can pass messages to Santa. But the Elves (better spell it correctly) are usually cheeky and mischievous when Santa’s not watching x

Does anyone know where you can buy girl elves from? DS is desperate for a girl one but all I can find are ones in pink and purple but otherwise they look the same facially. Ideally in green or red but female looking.

I got a girl one from Tesco it's red but only way can tells it's female is the eyelashes so not obvious!

Ours arrive on the 1st with advent calandars and xmassy pj's and leave Xmas eve with the Xmas eve box left behind. I fill the other days a mix of cheeky elf adventures (mainly playing with toys like the pictures, this is dhs job and he loves it), or bringing treats like Christmas jumpers, Christmas colouring books or a movie night.
I do a little list in build up - write out a thing for each day so we don't run out of ideas or I forget something I had bought.

I’m about ten years into this. And so our elf is looking a little old and tatty. I can strongly recommend buying two!!!
