Hello there :)

So I’m doing hampers for my godchildren. I have got some awsome super hero personalised capes and masks from Etsy which were only 12.99. I was wondering what other little bits could I add? For girls and boys? Would like quite cheap ideas to add if possible.

Thanks so much!!

Hats, glasses.
2 year olds need stuff that is simple to put on.

Aw, you're a nice Godparent! Our most played dressing up things have been big bits of shiny fabric but hats and glasses are good, or wings, deelybopper type things; bags are good for dressing up and pretend play.

This is helpful thank you!! :)

Hats! Any type of hat are most loved in our dress up set. I raided the charity shops for different ones.

Hats, hats & more hats!

Oh & masks/eye mask type things too!
My 7 year old still loves all that sort of thing in her dressing up box

I was going to say wedding veil ( net curtain) also makes a nice train. Or mosquito net. I bought a curtain with a tiara for my friends daughter and it became one of the most frequently used items. Possibly 2 might be a bit young as a choking hazard but for an older child ( or shorter length) it’s great.

Pirate wear! Great idea by the way.

When ds was that age my sister bought him his own handbag (from a charity shop) and filled it with proper metal keys, a purse with money and old cards, packet of tissues, toy mobile phone etc. He loved it, and dd loved it too when she inherited it!
