What do you think of these Christmas presents for a 2 year old?

Hi there,

I was going to collate together lots of little props for nursery rhymes into a basket for my goddaughters and godson.

They are all between 1.5 and 2.5.

What do you think of this idea and any similar ideas for Xmas pressies like this? I like the idea of story sacks but they are quite expensive for props for just one book.

Take a look at the website tinker tray play they have lovely wooden goldilocks figures and you could get those with a nice copy of a book. They have red riding hood, jack and the beanstalk etc and about £14

At that age I would ask myself if the parents would use it. I definitely wouldn't.

Depends on the parent, kids would enjoy it with parental input. I use props with my 19 month old and sing nursery rhymes, he bangs his drum and maracas. I raid the older kids Playmobil though.
