Gifts for USA friend

Hi,

I always send a gift to an elderly family friend in the USA for Christmas. I have decided this year to order something directly and get it sent. Ideally some kind of baked goods i.e a basket of Christmas cookies.

However on numerous websites when I go to checkout I am unable to because my billing address is in the UK.

Does anyone have a recommendation of somewhere that I can actually order from?

Thank you

How about Harrods? I bet they do international shipping all the time.

If you find somewhere that does PayPal I bet you can order using a UK PayPal account (I think they may sting you on exchange rate though).

I've ordered from Gift Tree and have used my bank card.

Try Etsy.

I've ordered form US based suppliers on there before and it's been absolutely fine and delivered directly to my sister in the US. There are lots of home bake suppliers on there.

I've also got an amazon.com account as well as my .co.uk account and use this for buying and sending gifts to family in the US.

Once you get your head around it it's much easier and shipping from here at the moment takes forever.

Lovely things from Biscuiteers:

or Fortnum and Mason

I would try Etsy. Filter the search by country to find US based sellers. This has worked fine with my UK billing address when purchasing from Australia in the same sort of circumstances.
