The most important aspect is non shedding as his current favourite blanket sheds buts of fluff all over the carpet which is near impossible to hoover up 
He likes to wander about wearing his pants dragging the bloody thing behind him. So washable and non shedding would be ideal. Then I can get rid of the one we have at the moment and my eye might stop twitching constantly.
