Gifts for 2 month old, any ideas?

I know that ds will not know that it's Christmas but his big sister will and I would like her to see him get something from Santa.
I am going to buy a special teddy and will wrap up some of dd's old toys for him, rather than buying new, but wondered if anyone had any bright ideas.

Clothes. Will likely be moving up a size shortly after so just get those and wrap them

Not on the high street do cute 'child's name's first Xmas 2020' decorations. I've just ordered some for 2 new babies in my family.

Could santa bring the stocking itself? Although if your eldest is expecting to hand one up for his baby sibling that might not work.

I'd go with a nice Teddy and stuff he will need at some point anyway. Does he have a play mat yet?

Thank you. There are some lovely ideas on here. Part of the problem is that we already have everything from when we had dd so I have been trying to think of practical things that he will need over the next few months.

We have some Lamaze toys etc that belonged to DD that are going to be recycled.

I'm in the same boat! DD2 will be 3 months at Christmas and big sister is 5!

I've got DD2 a bauble that says 'Isabella's first Christmas' - I got DD1 a similar one but with a unicorn and her name on - also got her a bib that says baby's first Christmas - I know she's only on milk but she can wear it on Christmas Day anyway!

Also got 'that's not my Robin' book for DD1 to read to her. Some finger puppets. A new baby gym - I gave my previous one to a friend when we were done with it! Oh and a baby gap hoody that was in the sale .... also got one for DD1.
Some name stickers from tinyme - I know we won't use them for a while but they are cute and will be used a lot when I start labelling stuff for her!

I would go for a jelly cat teddy (check out the dragon one it’s adorable ) also I’d go for a tummy time mat or a sheepskin rug with a wooden play gym ,a couple of wooden & silicone rattled,maybe some wooden stacking rings if you haven’t already got them as they look nice on display until he’s old enough to use them , maybe some board books , bath toys and some lovely clothes ... x

I'm in the same boat too! Haha, my DD is 4 and second DD will be 2 months at Christmas. I have got her, a small clutching toy from etsy which is more of a keepsake, a teether, the next size up in dummies, that's not my puppy book and her 'main' gift is a tummy time mirror. :) me and my eldest also went out before lockdown and I asked her to choose an outfit and an age appropriate toy for the baby, she got this really cute burgundy jumper and a teether you can put in the fridge. I am also wrapping up all DDs old toys, for under the tree, DD is a bit attached to her toys so I feel this will help her let go and accept it's all to share now, she is going to help me wrap them. I also have a dress and a toy from the baby to her. We do Christmas eve boxes, I got the baby 2 books from poundland, Christmas pyjamas, a rattle that was my DDs, natural oatmeal soap and fluffy socks. I also brought 4 second hand books, I'm going to wrap them up together and say it's for both of them. They are way to old for the baby but she already likes to be around when we are reading to DD :)
