Frozen mince pies

Found some in the freezer that I made last year, would they still be ok or should I throw them away?

Well I served up some year old in the freezer mince pies last Christmas to the Toddlers commitee and no one died.

Was mildly embarrasing as they were really good and after several enquiries (and me pretending not to hear them) DH fished about in the bin for the box, and anounced that they were sainsbury's finest vintage 2005.

There was a short silence that makes me shudder sometimes in the night when I recall it.
