Advent calendar item ideas?

I'm making my DH an advent calendar where each day is a little jute bag. I wanted to put an array of small items in (nothing super expensive as he will get his main presents under the tree).
I'm due this December with our first baby so wanted to do something a little more personalised for him this year.

At the moment I have ideas like different little wrapped chocolate and sweets and a few whisky miniature bottles, however struggling to think of items that aren't "clutter/junk" but still offer a bit more variety than sugar and booze.
I think the bags are a bit small to fit underwear and socks (though I could buy a pair and try it just in case).

Has anyone made something like this? What did you put in your bags?

Tin of Vaseline
Packet of gum
Scratch card
Keyring
Handcream

If it's something bigger could you put a scrap of paper in directing him to a cupboard that the bigger present is in?

@JeVoudrais this is great thank you!
Definitely adding some scratch cards and gum to the list! They will go down so well!

Miniature toiletries? Most shops have a travel section where you can get tiny shave foam, little deodorants, bubble bath etc..

Coffee shop gift card?

Hand written vouchers for whatever you chose!

Activities to do...put up the tree, watch a film, play cards...whatever.

If he likes Lindor, this website the-chocolate-emporium.com/ has a massive selection of different lindor balls and other choccies. Could also add little sachets of fancy hot chocolate or tea/coffee.

A christmas decoration themed to his interests, Paperchase have a fab variety of different ones.

Does he wear cufflinks?

A coin maybe an old one from his birth year.

If he wears glasses a cloth or cleaner wipes.

Memory sticks are useful.

Nuts

Flower seeds if you have a garden.

Retro sweets.

Office stationary - pencil sharpener, rubber, mini pencils. You can get some interesting novelty pencil sharpeners.
