Sorry if it's already been done. I had a quick look but couldn't see a similar thread.

I've had some great ideas for the dc's in the past on here so I'm back again.

DS is 14. We have asked what he would like but he hasn't given us any clues. We usually buy him experiences of some sort. On the past we have done young drivers experience, ticket to a comedian, ticket to a gig, outdoor adventure type experience however this year for obvious reasons these things are not ideal. Last Christmas I bought DD tickets to watch a musical, this has been postponed until next September so well over a year after she was given the tickets.

So if anyone has some other ideas they are getting their teenager sons I'd be really grateful, thank you.

my teens want a programmable construction toy, I'm looking at lego boost and others.

Outdoor stuff will open when it can esp where social distancing is easier, how about:
Clay shooting - most places do 'have a go" or lessons
Golf - courses will re-open and he coukd have some lessons and then do a few holes on a short with teacher
Windsurfing/SUP - lots of sailong clubs around

If you want indoors then maybe on-line music lessons - guitar?

Clay pigeon shooting sounds great. I'll have a look and see if there is anything local. Plus I could get it for DH too so they can do it together.

Just came on to start a thread on this exact topic so watching with interest.

DS sat down to write a list this morning and so far it has expansion pack for exploding kittens game and nothing else!

Planning on getting him airpods, but apart from that have zero ideas I'm afraid.

Things that have gone well in previous years have been

Mini fridge for his bedroom
Docking charging station thingy for his x box controller
Personalised x box controller
Personalised pocket pen knife
Personalised necklace form not on the High Street
Driving lessons
Magazine subscription
Personalised fudge hamper with his favourite flavours
I see we have done lots of personalised things in the past!

Just in case these help anyone else

Also I want one of those is a good website for unusual bits and pieces.

We got my son a pit bike , my dad put money to it and my sons had wentbif gaming so sold his console and game and put £200 to it himself .
We were really struggling this year and he had a go on his dads bike and really wanted one

Ds3 (14)’s Christmas list is either of these. I’m waiting for him to choose as he’s not getting both. He’s also getting a loot box thing with 3 Harry Potter t-shirts and a Lindt Lindor ball.

Ds1 is 14 and so far I've bought:
Air force 1 trainers
Man Utd away shirt
Cycle helmet
3 x nike/adidas Tshirts
David Baddiel 'Future friend' book
Tetris card game
Yes/No game
Fifa 21 xbox game
Luckily he only has size 5 feet so trainers are still affordable! Dreading his feet growing...😩
