Hi what are you buying your 15 year old dd’s this year , so far I’ve bought toiletries but I’m so stuck 🤷‍♀️ She likes urban outfitters so I’ve said she can look and pick one item of clothing I think they’re over priced for joggers etc . Any ideas please

My 16 year old dd is getting a ipad (needed) so won’t be getting much else, have got her a stitch plush from Disney store as she collects them and some pop tarts. Other than that she doesn’t really need anything. Head phones/ear pods are usually what she asks for, last year she had lots of clothes but doesn’t really need any this year. Will be watching for ideas.

A new purse? Earrings? A funky scarf/gloves?

Mine is getting a tv for her room, she's been hankering after one for a few years. Shes getting a slankie type thing and some smellies and photo frames etc. From other relatives shes getting Nike Airforce (she has totey feet, so still fits into kids sizes), bath bombs and some bits and pieces of toiletries - mainly moisturiser, face washes etc. Last year she got a Sprocket and it was by far her most loved present for a good few years.
I feel your pain re Urban Outfitters!

CovidClara · 06/11/2020 15:50

Cash- she can then buy stuff in the urban outfitters sale.

InFiveMins · 06/11/2020 17:59

I would suggest MAC makeup (or similar), TV for bedroom, AirPods.

Mines getting some of the Millie Bobby Brown Pandora earrings, some nice skincare, a hoodie, books and kit for her sport

15yr old DN is having an anthropologie journal plus an eyebrow kit plus vegan chococolate.

Glossier makeup is much requested too.

From us not her parents!

Oodie or Amazon cheaper imitation ones. It is like an oversized hoodie they wear lying about the house. Very popular with that age group with us.

All DDs friends seem to be into the reversible mood change octopus plushies at the moment. Very annoying to be constantly confronted with the miserable side all the time though....

MeringueCloud · 06/11/2020 22:36

Lava lamp

I have a 15 year old dd, she's a massive UO fan too.

I find that you can get really good bargains if you wait for the sales, also lots of the homeware can be picked up on Amazon for much cheaper.

Dd has requested a Salt lamp, cactus tapestry (she's putting this on the ceiling) tie dye socks - from Urban Outfitters, and jewellery from PD Paola.

Her surprise gifts are Hotel chocolate velvetiser, a jelly cat Yule log and some craft kits, one is macrame and one is crochet I think.

She's also got pj's, a jar of Percy pigs from M&S and a hair towel.

Pipandmum · 07/11/2020 01:27

My daughters only request was sweets you can only get at one sweet shop! Not into make up and doesn't see the point of buying new clothes when she has enough. Last year she turned down new boots as the ones shes had for over two years still fit... doesn't much like jewelry either, and forget any smelly stuff - last years things are still in the package.
She finally came up with a big lego thing. I found micro block sets for adults on Amazon that should keep her busy.

My 14 year old has asked for an Oodie, Morphe make up and brushes, Victoria's Secret and PLT hoodies, hair waver, and will get some other bits and pieces of make up, smellies, loungewear and clothes.

StickTheKettleOnAlice · 07/11/2020 10:13

@Pipandmum your dd sounds very sensible and creative, maybe she would like some adult colouring books?
