Where should I buy Christmas decorations?

Given that we will be stuck at home this Christmas I want to get some Christmas decorations - garlands, lights etc. I love the stuff in John Lewis, but my budget would get me much there. Any suggestions of where I can get similar quality? Thanks

Op most places stock the same brands.

Check out places like Wilkinson, they have really lovley cheap things, good basics then, matalan, some years they have had the best decorations!

For more special pieces to compliment your basics, homesense or tk max. Make sure lights are warm white, otherwise you'll end up with glaring strip light, like lights.

Ie John Lewis will have gisella Graham, so will garden centers etc.

The range, lovely choice and good prices

Here’s a option for lights. You probably can get cheaper but I’ve found they only last a year or two when I’ve gone super cheap.

For decorations I agree with previous post Matalan have had some excellent items at very reasonable price compared to some of the larger department stores.

Good luck

Debenhams do a lot of nice stuff, maybe a bit cheaper. I used a company called The Christmas Imaginorium (i think) and stuff Id seen elsewhere was a few pounds cheaper. To be fair it was cheaper than Fortnum and Mason 😂
Musical advent calendar was £35 instead of £45, some individual baubles £8 instead of £12. These were for gifts and only a few but they may have other stuff.
Gisella Graham all over the place, google to get best price. I didnt see anything in local Matalan that tempted me.
TK Maxx?

Is Homebase still open? They do some really nice stuff.

I’ve just bought my outdoor decorations from Aldi (the special buys section). I bought a set of five light up robins for £15...similar ones are £40 in John Lewis. They have their indoor decorations next week, I think.

I think the trick is to be consistent in your theme and make sure you get the size of the decorations right.
