In the region of £20. Got noo idea what to get them and their parents haven't been super helpful on suggestions.

Some crafty things ...a ‘paint your own tea set’ and a bead threading wooden jewellery kit , both about £10 each

groutingqueen · 03/11/2020 12:04

I'd get craft stuff too. Or lego?

Insect Lore Butterfly Garden? You send off for the caterpillars when ready to grow them.

Oh god please no "make your own" sets. They are always way more effort and mess than the adverts have you believe. Plus whatever they make they are inevitably disappointed with (looking at you bath bomb kit you little bastard).

Playmobil.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 03/11/2020 12:13

Lego (Friends or Dots are safe bets)
Board game
Jigsaw
Colour in handbag
Beanie baby. Especially one with sequins.
Set of books.

£20 can go a long way at 5.

Fairy garden set

Lego. Soft Toy. Smiggle stationery.

Indecisivelurcher · 03/11/2020 12:28

My just turned 6yo Dd loves playmobil and drawing.

Lego friends, Barbies, polly pockets. Apparently with 5 year olds the more small bits of plastic to loose the better.

BritInAus · 03/11/2020 12:33

LEGO friends, LEGO Disney princesses, anything barbie. Playmobil.

MeadowHay · 03/11/2020 17:49

Thanks all!
