Hair straighteners for teen dd. Help!

There is so much choice it's overwhelming.

She has suggested GHDs... but there are so many different models I feel lost. Her hair is long and fine and pretty straight if that makes a difference.

Cloud Nine have also been mentioned.

Has anyone already done research and can advise? I'd like to know exactly what I'm after come Black Friday!

@Crackery worth keeping an eye on look fantastic if you haven't used it before - they've got 20% off for new customers and it works on GHDs (just tried)

If she has fine hair I'd skip GHDs. I have fine hair and GHDs get too hot. I need something with adjustable heat so Cloud 9 are better.

Also look at Bio Ionic. They are in the same price range as GHD and Cloud 9 and in my opinion they're better.

@Crackery I got confused as to which ones I have, I've got platinum. Four years old and still perfect. I can even curl with them.
