Matchmakers (but not orange/mint/salted caramel)

Hi, longtime lurker here looking for help, please.

My DD loves Matchmakers, but on the chocolate flavoured ones. Last year my Mum managed to find some near where she lives, but this year (so far), we’ve not seen any. Would any of you know where I could find a box or two?

I hadn't realised they'd got rid of them; they're like rocking horse poo, aren't they?!

Have you tried pound shops etc?

There's tons of them up here! There's a bit variety that DH likes, Tesco and home bargains both had them!

I haven’t seen the plain chocolate matchmakers for years, but Would she like gingerbread flavour do you think? Spotted them in home bargains and wish I’d bought them. Thinking about it, HB might be worth a look, their chocolate aisle often has old fashioned brands.

Thanks, def wouldn’t like gingerbread flavoured. She doesn’t like any ‘flavoured’ chocolate at all.

I’ve been haunting Home Bargains and Tesco, but not seen any. Have also looked online.

Are they the blue box? Swear I saw some this week. I'll keep my eyes open when doing the shop today

A quick rummage on eBay brought up the flavours ......... sadly Blue Box is Maple and Pecan ( I had never heard of these !)

I still miss the Coffee Matchmakers and I remember when they were in a long thin box and the Matchmakers themselves were the size of a match and thinner.
You could get a mixed bix of orange/mint/coffee too .

having had a google it doesn't look like there is a plain chocolate flavour? What colour did you think the box was?

Sorry haven't seen these. I still yearn for the coconut flavour matchmakers. I think they were only made for one year!

There definitely used to be plain chocolate ones. Like so many things, they've been messed with ruined.

Email manufacturer and ask if you can buy some direct. They may have a factory shop.
