Playmobil or Bruder any other good vehicle toys ?

My DS has given me a list of vehicles he wishes to ask Santa for. I will get a couple and love Bruder ones for quality. Playmobil is a winner with him, he's 4. Any other options I don't want to be getting the same thing over and over and missing out on another brand ?

My 8 year old nephew still plays with Bruder now. Especially all of the articulated lorries. To be honest, i think a lot of other brands he will grow out of quickly. Lego is probably going to be the next branded thing you buy

I just love Playmobil! If he's into that already go ahead and get more! That way the figures he's got can use it and i'll all go well together.

Either or both would be good. John Deere is supposed to be good for tractors if that's on your list of vehicles. If you're looking for miniatures, Smyths do the Sika ones which are die cast and lovely. Which vehicles in particular are you looking for?

Playmobil is great, as you can expand out of that particular theme into others, and they will all work well together. There are some great Playmobil farm sets around. Smile

Siku is great for tractors and machinery . They do a really small version which my son adored . Much prefer it to Britain’s .

I would stick to bruder and playmobil. We haven’t found anything else comparable and there’s so many different things to buy you’ll never run out

I’m another one who would say stick with those brands. My eldest is nearly and still plays with Playmobil (& has it on His Christmas list). He got gin lorries and firemen when he was four, and the other day, I walked in on him and his younger brother creating a world in which Playmobil firemen were putting out a fire onboard the pirate ship, which had started when the canon from the castle fires and hit the mast!

One on the list vehicle is an ambulance, although he saw the £50 WWE wrestling samulance in Symths toys, he doesn't know what wrestling is though, but I wasn't that impressed by the bruder or playmobil ones. I have £100 of buder in my online shopping basket already , I know it's brilliant quality just seems excessive. I did say Santa can't bring everything. We will turn into a garage here soon.

I had Playmobil for both DC, the nice thing was that it came with figures and the different sets can be mixed & matced. Both DC played with it until 8-9, so definitely value for money.

My 6 year old has playmobil and Bruder tractors and land rovers. They go well with his Playmobil farm so much so he has the new Playmobil farm and another Bruder Land Rover from Santa this year. We did have a few John Deere bits but they didn’t last long.

His sisters have the Pony Farms, Bruder horse box set, hospital and ranger station and he has other sets. They often have a village set up, get hours out of it. Happy to add to it as it works here.
