Desperately trying to get a large box of milk choc coffee creams from fortnum and masons chocolate counter. Happy to pay postage etc and throw in a box for anyone who could help me out!

how quickly do you need them?

Justonedayatatime11 · 26/10/2020 14:52

Some time before Christmas

Can't you order them online? Their delivery charges are steep but it is doable?

Justonedayatatime11 · 26/10/2020 15:04

They're not available on their website, as they're not prepackaged

Have you tried calling their customer service (02077348040) I’m sure they would be happy to help and you might be more comfortable than paying a “stranger”

Gohackyourself · 26/10/2020 15:28

Do you need someone to collect them from the store and then post them to you?

Justonedayatatime11 · 26/10/2020 15:34

Gohackyourself pretty much. There's a massive chocolate counter in f&m, I just need the biggest box they do posted to me!

RagamuffinCat · 26/10/2020 17:36

That sounds like it will cost a small fortune!

CovidClara · 26/10/2020 18:09

I order directly from audreys every christmas- you dont get the fortnums box but a rather nice old fashioned hard box

Dancerinthemoonlight · 26/10/2020 19:52

@justonedayatatime11 I'm going into London on Tuesday and will be near F and M, also going into London at the end of the month of you are still looking for someone. I can be verified by a friend on here if you would like

friskybivalves · 26/10/2020 20:03

I work in St James's and would also v happily pick up a box of F&M chocolates and get them wherever you need them to be. I'm going into the office two/three times a week and will do so consistently until Xmas. Key worker so that will remain the case even if we go into some other Higher Covid Level of Doom.

BathtubGin · 26/10/2020 22:23

You need to get them just before you need them as they definatley go off and harden.

Justonedayatatime11 · 26/10/2020 22:25

CovidClara is that really true?!

Is what really true?

That audreys make the chocolates? Yes- google you will find loads about it

This thread made me order some violet cremes

LaurieFairyCake · 27/10/2020 14:29

Omg Shock

Want some so much

CovidClara · 27/10/2020 14:30

Audrey website is a bit clunky- you can call them. You have to select plain or milk first and then it shows each chocolate (so for violet cremes there are plain and milk and you order from different pages)

CovidClara · 27/10/2020 14:32

They do a great range at Christmas usually. I get a large box and it is like something from Poirot- I always expect them to be poisoned.

I have no connection with Audreys. I think I originally read about them on here.

Justonedayatatime11 · 27/10/2020 16:01

CovidClara you are an absolute star! I spoke with them this morning and a box of 64 coffee creams is on its way to me ConfusedGrin

Am so happy I stumbled across this thread! When clearing my grandparents' house we found several really beautiful old chocolate boxes from Black Magic, Milk Tray etc, all solid, with silk tassels etc, so much nicer and more special. I'm off to peruse Audreys...

CovidClara · 28/10/2020 13:32

Glad you like them, mine came too but a much smaller box. 1st thing that I have tasted since getting Covid. I have eater a few- the box was full!
