My DS is almost 8, still believes and is quite young for his age.

Is he too old for the Christmas train? Blush Will we be surrounded by toddlers waiting to meet Santa?

What Christmas activities are you/have you done with your 7 year old?

Ds was almost 8 last Christmas and we took him to see Santa for the first time and he loved it!

No, of course not! Anyway there will be older siblings there with their younger sisters and brothers.

Thank you. That makes me feel better. Smile

May I ask what other Christmas activities you have done with a 7 year old?

My kids are 10 and 11 (ASD so still believers and a bit young for their age). They had tea with Santa last year and did a train ride. Tea with Santa they were the oldest but didn't stick out. My thoughts are "are they having a good time?" If so, who cares?

My 9&7yps are very excited for the Santa train
The peak age is around 5-8... The younger ones look overwhelmed. I've seen babies up through toddlers.

My eldest is 13 and he would have been coming to see FC with his 8 yo sister if it wasn't for Covid! I wouldn't have even thought of not taking an 8 year old! Definitely not just toddlers go to see FC!

Other activities we have done - Pantomime, Disney on Ice, Christmas afternoon tea, Winter Wonderland. But the visit to FC is their favourite 'must-do' activity!

Mine are 9,8 & nearly 5 and they love doing anything Christmassy. We are seeing Santa on a boat this year, will be different lol.

We took DS on the Polar Express last year when he was 9 and he loved it.
