Would a cycling helmet be Ok for protective headgear or do I have to get another helmet ??

Is ther a special type for 'first timers ' ?

And who the hell is going to teach him to use it ! I think I'll take him down the local skateboard park and ask some of the older boys to teach him !

We bought our ds1 (5) one for his birthday. It was very basic and I think it was from toysrus (if not Argos). we got the pads from toysrus too. He wears his bike helmet.
As for who teaches him - he seems to be picking it up by himself but ds2(2) keeps trying to climb on - not a good idea!
