...for a ten year old. I know Kinnerton are great but was looking for something away from Peppa Pig and/or Paw Patrol this year!

Any ideas?! Many thanks.

Maybe Haribo, if that doesn't have nuts?
Or Lego.
Jellybeans.
Or buy one that you can fill yourself.
I know there are Pringle and McVities biscuit ones, but I don't know the nut content.

A picture one rather than chocolate?

bitheby · 20/10/2020 20:29

Lego.

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 20/10/2020 20:30

I've seen a swizzels one (the sweets like Parma violets or drumstick lollies)

Floralnomad · 20/10/2020 20:31

Gibson’s do a jigsaw one , depending on the age of the children .

Theredjellybean · 20/10/2020 20:32

Plasticine, smiggle, paperchase, playmobil for fun, lego, or do a re fillable one and do your own, is it a girl? One of the cheaper beauty ones,

Perching · 20/10/2020 20:32

Lego
Smiggle
Tinc
Schleich
Fill your own?

MrsR87 · 20/10/2020 20:33

I think I’d be inclined to buy a nice wooden reusable one that you can fill yourself.

Growuppeople · 20/10/2020 20:39

Why not just get a toy one? Amazon have loads! Lego, dinosaurs, Pokemon, play doh etc?

AriettyHomily · 20/10/2020 20:46

There are literally hundreds, Amazon.

You can get Free From calendars like Moo Free which aren't babyish

olderthanyouthink · 21/10/2020 01:39

Moo free, like a lot of "free from", isn't nut safe "Made in a factory that handles Hazelnuts."

Kinnerton do a Santa one I think and weirdly I got an Adult (boobs and balls) calendar from a pound shop a couple years ago that didn't say may contain and didn't cause me the usual trace amount headache.

Playmobil does some great ones, we have years of toys from them from Christmas advent calendars. Every year the kids would haul out the box of toys from the previous Christmases and then add to them with the current year.

We went through the same thing as DD has a peanut allergy, glad there are so many alternatives. Hope you find something fun!

RainbowMum11 · 21/10/2020 02:38

Make your own?
I got a box from the Works with 25 little drawers in, decorated it myself and then fill it with different bits every year.
