Electric guitar that you can play with headphones?

DH is enjoying playing his guitar but we've a small house and I'm often asking him to keep it down if it's very late. Is there a guitar he could plus headphones into, like you'd do with an electric piano? I think it would make a great Christmas present if there is! Even if it's an actual electric guitar I think he'd enjoy playing it.

Has he got a headphone jack on his amp?

He doesn't have an amp! He's just got an acoustic guitar (that's at least 20yrs old!)

Electric guitar + amp + headphones into amp = just the vague noise of strings, nowhere near the volume of an acoustic guitar.

What about Vox Amps

They are a mini amp that plugs into the guitar and then you plug head phones into the amp.

Rated very highly by my partner and doesn't take up any space compared to a massive amp. We have the massive amps as well
