13 year olds either like to be asked, or given the money...

or if you dont like that, give him a voucher for a particular shop...

What sort of music does he like? Band Tees and Hoodies go down well.

DS1 is 13 and loves gaming so he's getting some so he'll be getting some final fantasy clothing.

DressingGownofDoom · 17/10/2020 22:39

Amazon voucher

That last sentence makes SO much sense. Sigh. :o

I hope you got the gist.

My DS wants something in particular for his mountain bike but hasn't told me exactly what yet (something to do with suspension!) so we'll try and get that. Also getting him an Echo Dot. Have got him a big sort of arm/rest cushion thing so that he can sit up comfortably in bed when watching tv (he complains that it's uncomfortable!) LED strip lights for around the ceiling in his room. Clothing will be KWD and/or Hollister. Got him Nikes in the sale a while ago and put them aside. He'll get cash from relatives so I'd rather we give him actual gifts. Plus DD still believes so she'd like to see him get presents too.

I have a 12 year old.

I expect he will want some games for his Xbox but I've also got him a new dressing gown, socks and smellies, a pen pot for his room that he had his eye on, some stationery, chocolate, selection box, hair gel. Mainly lots of little bits and I'll prob get him some clothes as well.

I've also got my eye on a big cushion thing from Dunelm for his bed, to match his teddy bear duvet cover. Might get that as well.

DS is 13 he is getting some clothes the brands he likes are Nike, Adidas, CP company, Champion, Stone Island etc.

He is also getting a weights bench and his room repainted.

My DS (12.5 this Christmas) likes Superdry. There are some good techy stocking fillers at Urban Outfitters, e.g. mini wireless charger and mini bluetooth speaker in fun shapes. Qwertee is a good t-shirt site for this age-group. Redbubble has fun clothes and accessories (I haven't used this site myself, but others on here recommend it).

Looking at getting my 13 yo relative a Japanese puzzle box as he likes that kind of thing. They go very expensive but there are some for £15-30 around. Also maybe a 100 movies to watch poster or similar.

OhCobblers · 18/10/2020 10:14

@Thecomfortador love the poster idea for my teen! Definitely getting that.

I've also found either in Etsy or eBay personalised graffiti art. Very cool particularly if you're looking for a "bedroom" present. I'm getting one with my DC name.

DS is getting a beanie hat with built in earphones and an Apple Watch equivalent. A PlayStation voucher. A like the idea of a big support cushion for his room. Will look into that.

He got LEDs with birthday money and they run along his skirting board. Those were money well spent if anyone is thinking about it.

He got loads of clothes for his birthday plus some hand me downs from his cousin but will get new pjs, socks, pants. He likes the brand oddsocks.
