Hi

I need to buy gifts for two boys (sons of a dear friend) who will 4 (but very nearly 5) and just turned 8 at Christmas.

I'd like to buy them something fun, cool, of the moment.. something to play with and enjoy now.

Budget up to about £35 or £40 each.

Parents are getting them bakugan, Switch games, Pokemon stuff, Lego. And are devoid of ideas for me to buy!

They've never been into building stuff like knex etc.

Any ideas? It was me who introduced them to bakugan (thank you ITV advert last year!) so expectations are HIGH. 😆

DS1 suggested his 3.5 year old would like a HotWheels set up. He likes his marble run so this seemed a good idea. One of the Hotwheels kits allows two cars to race; this might be a good choice for your youngsters.
No cars with the kit I bought, but his Cousins can give him those.
